Paycheck Protection Program (PPP)
Southern First Bank is working diligently to develop an automated process to support our client's access to the SBA Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) of the CARES Act. Clients interested in applying for loans under the Paycheck Protection Program must complete our PPP Request Form which will become available on our website at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, April 7, 2020. PPP Request Forms will only be accepted by business clients who have an existing primary deposit relationship.
The PPP Request Form will require the following information:
- Business name
- Business DBA or trade name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Principal officer authorized to execute loan documents
- Southern First Bank primary deposit account number
- Expected PPP loan amount
As we have communicated over the past week, our bank will have limitations on fulfilling SBA PPP loan requests due to liquidity and funding issues, capital constraints, and capacity issues in this COVID-19 restrictive environment. PPP Request Forms will be subject to approval based on a first-come, first-served basis. Those PPP Request Forms that are approved will then receive an official PPP Application from our bank subject to processing capacity and funds availability.
Approved to offer SBA loan products under SBA’s Lender/Certified programs.
