Meet Marisa

Director of Marketing in Greenville, SC

Marisa brings more than a decade of marketing expertise and digital strategy experience to Southern First. From the automotive industry to real estate and now in banking, Marisa has spent her career helping organizations tell meaningful stories and connecting people with trusted experts during some of life's most important financial decisions. As Director of Marketing, she leads the bank's marketing and advertising strategy across eight markets. Marisa is a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class 52. In 2025, she was recognized as one of Greenville Business Magazine's Best & Brightest Under 35, and in 2020, she was named to Coldwell Banker's 30 Under 30. She has led the bank's United Way giving campaign for several years and enjoys volunteering for a variety of nonprofits with the Southern First team. She also previously served on the Prosight RMA Upper SC Board. Outside of the office, she is an avid Harry Potter fan and collector and enjoys reading. She and her husband love to travel, watch Formula 1 races, and walk their two dogs.
