After over a decade of helping clients purchase new homes and refinance existing mortgages, Nelson is excited to transition to a new role, leading the Southern First mortgage team. He excels at delivering solutions for any mortgage situation, and he is a former licensed real estate agent, meaning he understands all sides of the home buying process. Nelson’s depth of experience in mortgage lending and his dedication to creating exceptional home financing experiences will serve him well as he works to grow Southern First’s mortgage division. Nelson is a Greenville native, married to his wife Shana. They have two young boys and a little girl. On the weekends, he enjoys spending time with family, traveling, hiking, hunting, and fishing.
