Meet Katie

Experienced Banker in Columbia

Katie brings 20 years of banking experience to Southern First. In previous roles, she has managed branches and been instrumental in operations and training. Prior to starting her second career in banking, Katie owned her own business. The combination of her industry knowledge and her previous experience as an entrepreneur allows her to excel in assisting her clients with their personal finances and their business banking needs. Katie is a true people person with a servant heart. She is often described as nurturing and caring and enjoys her work most when she can be a trusted advisor to her clients, fulfilling all their banking needs. She is passionate about being involved in the community. She is a Board Member and Co-Chair of the Fundraising Team for Sistercare and an Ambassador for the West Columbia Chamber. Katie is happily married with two children and three stepchildren. In her free time, she loves to shop and enjoy a good glass of wine.
