Meet Ken

Experienced Banker in the Upstate

Ken has a career that spans over 20 years in banking with extensive experience in retail and commercial banking and management. He is an Upstate native, a Winthrop graduate, and holds an MBA from Strayer University. Ken is personable and enjoys working with people and being their “solutions provider,” as he puts it. His goal is to offer unparalleled customer service while building rapport and meeting his clients’ needs unconditionally. Ken also has a passion for the community and civil service, serving on the City of Simpsonville’s Council since 2015. He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (Boule). Additionally, he serves on the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors and Finance Committee, the United Way of Greenville AALG Board and Campaign Cabinet, the Bon Secours St. Francis Board of Directors, and the Board of Regents. He actively volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a proud fellow of the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute. Ken has been recognized in the past as a “Best and Brightest” and “Top 50 Most Influential” by Greenville Business Magazine. Ken is happily married and a father to three boys. Many people in the Upstate know him as “Coach Cummings,” after coaching many of his children’s sports teams. When Ken isn’t supporting his boys’ hobbies, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
