Meet Ken

Experienced Banker in the Upstate

Ken's banking career spans more than 25 years, with extensive experience in retail and commercial banking and management. He is an Upstate native, a Winthrop graduate, and holds an MBA from Strayer University. Ken is personable and enjoys working with people and being their “solutions provider,” as he puts it. His goal is to deliver unparalleled customer service while building rapport and meeting his clients’ needs unconditionally. Ken is also passionate about the community and civil service, and serves on Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County’s board of directors. Additionally, he serves on the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors and Finance Committee, the United Way of Greenville AALG Board and Campaign Cabinet, the Bon Secours Mercy Health Board of Directors (Treasurer), and the Board of Regents. Ken previously served on the City of Simpsonville’s Council from 2015 until 2023. He is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and Sigma Pi Phi Fraternity (Boule), where he is the assistant treasurer. He actively volunteers with Junior Achievement and is a proud fellow of the Riley Diversity Leadership Institute. Ken has been recognized as a “Best and Brightest” and “Top 50 Most Influential” by Greenville Business Magazine. Ken is happily married and has three boys. Many people in the Upstate know him as “Coach Cummings,” after coaching many of his children’s sports teams. When Ken isn’t supporting his boys’ hobbies, he enjoys spending quality time with his family, traveling, and playing golf.
